15th International chess open, Malakoff 2017
from saturday 08 to Sunday 16 april 2017
organized by the club "Malakoff et Mat" with the support of the ville de Malakoff and the Conseil Général des Hauts de Seine.
Presentation
The Malakoff et Mat club organises its traditionnal chess open from saturday 08 to Sunday 16 april 2017. This is a nine rounds tournament in 9 days (no double round) with a time control of 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes for all the remaining moves with a 30 second increment from move 1. Tournament hall allows the admittance of 300 players in a good condition. Rooms are located in the middle of Malakoff near a Subway station of Paris allowing chess and tourism. The parking place near the tournament hall is free.
Registration fees is 60 euros/30 euros for the young persons (U20) and Fide Master.
Registration and securized payment via internet.

Please note that the days before the Open, several tournaments between Saturday the first and Friday 7th April will be organized.

Probate Tournament FFE, FIDE
Licence A is mandatory or licence in a country affiliated in FIDE
Forfeit : 30 minutes after official scheduled start time
Checking : mandatory for all players one hour before the first round
Prizes : 1st prize 1500 euros; 2nd 800 euros; 3th 500 euros. Rating Prizes - truncated Buchholz split.
